The Challenge
The brand was launched a few months before we stepped in, but it didn’t get constant sales and the products couldn’t take off.
The goal was to reach €100k overall sales per month with a 12-15% TACOS.
The Strategy
Advanced Keyword Targeting:
Focussing primarily on high- and medium-volume search terms with exact and broad match type, we managed to gain visibility in the niche and to win market share. We paused all keywords we were not converting for.
Video Ads
Through authentic sponsored brand video ads, the products could stand out in the market and the sales skyrocketed. Using real-life examples to showcase the brand was a game changer.
Focus on Profit
In order to get TACOS under 15%, we needed to keep an eye on the ad spend. We could only focus on that after the products were already well-established in the market. After slightly reducing ad spend, ACOS and TACOS improved, and so did the profit margin.
The Result
We went from €0 to €100k overall sales after only 2 months of advertising this brand. Although the products kept running out of stock, we reached €165k overall sales in a 6 month-window.
Growing sales is in the majority of the cases connected with increasing ad spend, which is what happened in the first months. However, in order to reach our TACOS goal, we needed to keep a more constant ad spend and to improve the profit margin.
TACoS Improvements
Within a one-month time, we managed to increase the profit margin from 11,34% to 16,04%. (Update March 2024: Profit Margin 18.05%).
UPDATE (Oct 2024): 10X Sales Growth
Just over one year into managing this client’s Amazon Ads, we have surpassed €324K in monthly sales, scaling from €30K/month to over 10X growth.
